Budgies
I have 3 females and 3 males with 3 nesting boxes, I have notice, ( first time budgie owner ) and first breeding season for my budgies that I am finding the eggs on the ground have no idea what to do

If all three pairs are in the same cage, then this is the problem. You can only have one pair of birds in a cage for breeding. Budgies are very territorial when breeding. Their instinct is for their own chicks to survive, so they will chase other birds in the cage, raid the other nest boxes destroying eggs or killing any chicks. The aggression can get so bad that they kill the other pairs. Most likely the hens are raiding each other’s nests and throwing out the eggs. Until you can split up the pairs to three cages, you need to remove the nest boxes and not try to breed them. Once you have them set up in their own cages, you still can’t leave the nest boxes up all the time. You should take the boxes down after each clutch, even if the eggs do not hatch. Rest the pairs for 6 months before giving the boxes back.
