How large (in inches) should a cage be for 4-6 canaries?

Hi Batz,

You would be looking at feet when you house a lot of birds together. Something like 2 X 2 feet, or even larger. They need plenty of space. If the cage is too crowded they might fight. The best thing to do is search for canary flight cages, to make sure the bar spacing is small enough. Always keep an even number of birds, do not ever provide any type of nest and have multiple food & water stations – generally as many as there are birds.
