Canary liver tonic.

Hi,

I wish to know please if I can supplement my canary a liver tonic for maintaining it in good health and if so what’s the frequency and dose I can supplement my canary?

Hi Colin,

 

I wouldn’t recommend this. You should be feeding the bird a balanced food like pellets or granules, as well as some fresh greens and chopped veggies. When feeding a pelleted or granule diet, there is no need for supplements unless the bird has an issue that has been diagnosed by a Vet. You should only give supplements if advised by your Vet, and the Vet can recommend what your bird needs and how much to give him.
