What is CBC test and how useful is that in diagnosis?

The CBC is a complete blood count and it evaluates the blood cells. There is an average normal range for each type of blood cell. Any results that are too high or too low can help determine what the next course of action will be. The test alone is not going to provide a diagnosis – it is a starting point. If everything is in normal range, then there may not be a need for more testing unless the bird is clinically sick.
