Cleaning cage

Hi my name is chasity am getting a bird and I wanted to know.what cleaning tool could I clean with for my bird cage?

Answer:

Hi Chasity,

It is more important that you use a safe solution for cleaning. White vinegar diluted with water is the safest thing to use for cleaning around a bird. Typically one part vinegar to two parts water. It doesn’t have to be exact because even straight vinegar is safe to use around birds. You can also do a Google search for safe cleaning solutions for bird cages. As far as a tool goes, it’s personal preference – any type of scrubbing brush is fine. A clean sponge is OK but should be cleaned between each use.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,

Brenda
