Cleaning rope

whats best way for cleaning wooded and “rope” perches, to lessen chance of infection, bacteria

Hi Cindy,

I recommend pre-washing to remove all droppings, food, etc. Then you can wash them in the dishwasher, which will actually sanitize them. I do rinse them thoroughly afterwards, and I let wood sit in the sun for a few days if it was really soiled.
