Hi Ahmed,
When a handfeeding chick stops begging, it is not a good sign at all. He is sick in some way and needs to be taken to an avian Vet as soon as possible. Bacterial or yeast infections are very common in handfeeding chicks. They can also develop a respiratory infection if food ends up in their airway and lungs. Do not force feed the chick or he is likely to aspirate the food into his lungs. Your only option is Vet care. Keep the chick warm and quiet until you can get to the Vet. This is not something that can wait – a chick can go down quickly, in a matter of hours. I hope you can get him to a Vet for treatment.
Take care,
Brenda
