Hi, How can I tell if my cockatiel is not well. It’s the first time I have one. Please advise. Thank you

Hi Azra,

Birds will try to hide signs of illness, but if you observe your bird daily, there are always signs of a bird that is not feeling well. He might eat less, droppings will change, and his activity level will diminish. Any change in normal eating or behavior is a red flag that something is wrong. A very sick bird will sit fluffed up with his eyes closed, and often stop eating.
