Hi. I have a 2 year old male Cockatiel. She is ill. She has lost her voice and also sneezes 8-10 times in a burst, multiple times a day. Her dropping are solid, though turned bright green. There is no Avian vet available in my state. Please advise

I’m sorry to hear your bird is sick. There is no way we could possibly know what is wrong with your bird, and we cannot legally give out medical advice. Whatever is wrong, the bird needs medicine that can only be dispensed by a Veterinarian. Any Vet can treat a bird – they do not have to be an avian specialist. However, I’m not aware of any State in the US that doesn’t have some Avian Vets. Part of the responsibility of pet ownership is veterinary care. You can’t just let a sick pet suffer and die. Please try these links to locate an avian specialist, or call local Vets until you find one who will see the bird.
