Cockatiel not laying eggs

My birds laid two eggs and they broke it in week.
It’s been a year
They keeps mating but they still didn’t lay eggs. What do I have to do??

Hi Varshal,

Not all birds will be good breeders. It is very possible that this pair is eating the eggs as they are laid. These birds may be too old or too young. Or simply they are not good breeders. I would take the box away for a few months and give them a break from trying to nest and then try again. If they still do not lay eggs or eat or break the eggs, then I would not try to breed these birds again and just let them live as pets.
