Cocktail bird

Can I keep 2 male and 1 female cockatiel at my house

Answer:

Hi,

You can’t keep them all in the same cage, or two will bond and the third bird will get left out and get picked on. They should each have their own cage, or you can have 2 in one cage and 1 in its own cage. If you are planning to try to breed, then the pair should be kept away from the single bird. They will view it as a rival and not want it to be around them. It can cause them to not settle down for breeding.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,
