Cocktail mating after 10 days not egg laying what promblem

Hi Vishnu,

It takes a lot of patience to breed birds and often there is a lot of frustration. Mating does not always result in egg laying. The birds may be too young, infertile, uncomfortable with the nest box or location of the cage, or just not ready to lay eggs for any other number of reasons. all you can do is provide a nutritionally balanced diet and a good breeding environment and hope that it results in fertile eggs.. Some birds will never make good breeders no matter how much they mate. And some birds don’t take care of their eggs or chicks. You can’t force anything to happen when it comes to breeding, you just have to e patient and hope for the best.
