Different Colored Budgies

Hi,
I basically have the same question.
Do different color budgies get along living in the same cage?

Answer:

Hi Carmen,

You can house budgies together if the cage is large enough and if they get along. The color doesn’t matter. But if you want the birds to be tame, you should not cage them together. They will end up bonding with each other and not want to be handled. If you do still want to cage budgies together, always have an even number of birds, either all same sex, or the same number of males and females. When you have an odd number, even if they are all male or female, they will tend to bond in pairs and one bird can get left out and be bullied.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,
