Do I need to keep my bonded male & female together after they mated and laid fertile egg?

My females spends lots of time in the nesting box with her 5 eggs. Egg laying is finish. Do I need to keep the male parakeet with the female untileggs hatch and babies get older?

Yes, both the male and female take part in caring for the chicks and eggs. You should not separate them, as it is too hard for the female to do this by herself.
