Egg laying problem in female budgie

My budgie laid an egg after a fight with pair of another budgie pair..but now it is sitting always in breeding pot but not laying

Answer:

Hi,

If you are trying to breed your birds, you can only have one pair of birds in each cage. You can’t have multiple birds in one cage with nest boxes. So you either need to remove the nest box or move all but one pair from the cage if you want them to breed. Breeding birds are very territorial and the females will often kill each other if you try to have more than one pair in a cage. They will also destroy each other’s eggs or kill each other’s chicks.
