Femail zebra finch attacking male zebra finch

Our pair of finches is in cage with a pair of Scaly-breasted Munia and the femail zebra finch keeps attacking on the male zebra finch and some time she attacks on other also when we keep the male zebra finch out of the cage he tries to go in again and when we put it in the cage femail start attacking male finch is now almost completely bald due to attacks of female she haven’t payed any eggs.

Answer:

Hi,

I think the main problem is that you are trying to breed birds with too many in the cage. You should only have one pair of bird in the cage for breeding. Breeding birds get very territorial. The female feels threatened by the other pair and she’s taking it out on her mate. You either need to remove the nests, or remove a pair of birds.
