Female cockatiel

My female cockatiel is breathing heavily why ?

Hi,

This means something is seriously wrong with her, and she needs to be take to a Vet as soon as possible. She may have a respiratory disease, or since it’s a female, she may have been trying to lay an egg and it has become stuck inside of her. An eggbound bird will die if she is not helped by a vet to extract the egg.
