Hi. Recently 2-3 days ago my female conure had laid eggs for the first time. She had laid one egg yesterday. Its winter time in my country right now. I have been noticing she has been eating less since she laid eggs and almost all the time she remains inside the nesting box. My male conure is eating fine. What should i do?

You need to give them privacy. It’s perfectly normal for her to stay in the box most of the time. The eggs have to be kept warm day and night., She will come out for short periods to eat and stretch and poop. But if you are around them all the time, they are likely to get nervous and abandon the eggs. You need to buy a webcam if you want to watch them. She will do all of her eating during the short breaks.
