my Red Belly has feather loss on his underside beneath his wings and also his legs near his feet…could that be hormonal?

It’s possible but a thorough investigation and discussion with your vet should be done as there are many causes for feather loss and you will want to have an individualized discussion with a professional to see what may be the case for your bird.
