How cage should be

I bought a pair of love bird ,it’s cage is small ,,,is keeping pot is necessary,,,,,,will it sleep only inside pot ,,,or in floor of cage

Answer:

Hi,

I’m not sure if I understand your question. If these are young birds, they are too young to have a nesting box. They will sleep on the perch or sometimes on the cage floor. If you bought these to breed, then you should not give them a nesting box until they are showing signs of mating and wanting to nest. When they have eggs, the hen will spend most of the time in the box and at least one parent will sleep in the box.
