why is my indian Red neck parrot Rio sleeping with its head bowed down
While awake very alert

Hi,

If this is going on during the day, then your bird may be sick. Birds will try to hide signs of illness, and even a very sick bird will eat. If all of his behavior is normal, he is active, eating normally and mainly sleeping at night, this may just be the way he chooses to sleep. But fi you have any concerns, you should take him to an Avian Vet for a check up.
