and his legs are full with white dendruffs and swollen a bit.
is he sick? or is it just a phase???
im worried about them and i dont have time to take them to vet.
can you please help?

Answer:

Hi Bero,

Veterinary care is part of the responsibility of owning a bird, so it is important to make the time to take your bird to the vet when he needs vet care. Most vets will allow a pet to be dropped off and you can pick him up after the vet has seen him.

There are a couple of things that might be going on, and both will require vet care. He might have scaley mites or he may possibly have gout. There are many other possibilities but these are the two most common that cause the changes you are describing.

If left untreated, the bird will eventually die, but he will first suffer a lot. Please take him to an Avian Vet.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,

Brenda
