is my cockatiel going in the nest

my cockatiel is trying to go into the nesting box be she is not going why

Hi Paramesh,

If this is the first time they have had a nest box, then it can take time for them to go inside. Both male and female will examine it, maybe poke their heads inside, sometimes go in part way and come back out and then eventually go inside. It’s something new and they have to feel safe with it first. Give them time and they will eventually go inside of it.
