Keeping lovebird off upholstered furniture.

Our lovebird poops constantly. We are getting new furniture and want to keep her off of it. Any suggestions?

Hi Stephanie,

The best way is to keep your bird’s wing trimmed by a professional. You can get her a playstand, but if she can fly, she is going to do what she wants to do. Even if you keep removing her from unwanted areas, she will fly back when she can. Otherwise some type of covers or towels on the furniture may be needed when she is out of the cage.
