Hi Elena,
This is not a good idea – you are likely to return to find a sick or dead bird from contaminated water or no water at all. It may not be as convenient but you need to locate a vet or pet shop that will board birds. There are too many things that can go wrong such as the water getting spilled, pooped in and contaminated, food soiling, bird gorging on all of the food at one time, bird getting bored and getting into a dangerous situation, bird getting caught on a toy – the list can go on and many times something tragic has happened when the bird was only left for a night or two
Thank you for asking Lafeber,
Brenda
