Love bird breeding problem.

I have 1 love bird pair they breed 2 times 1cluch is good after the 2nd cluth babies are died after that they are not breeding in last month’s.?

Answer:

Hi,

Have you been resting the parents in between each clutch? You must take the nest box away and rest a pair after each clutch, for about 6 months. It’s best to limit them to two clutches per year. If you have not rested them, remove the nest box and do not give it back for at least 6 months. You might also want to take them to the vet for a check up.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,
