Lovebird weight
My 5 1/2 month old male Peach-faced Lovebird weighs 47 grams. Is this weight within the normal range for his age?

Yes, this is a normal weight. Of course it does vary by individual bird. It’s good to know how to determine a healthy weight. We recently had a webinar where Dr. Lamb demonstrated how to give your bird a physical, including checking his weight. You can watch it here:
