male inside the nest

Why is the mail inside the nest

Answer:

Hi Raquel,

You didn’t mention the species, but with most birds the male and female both take part in incubating the eggs and raising the chicks. For example, with cockatiels, one parent sits on the eggs during the day and the other sits on the eggs at night. So it isn’t unusual for the male to be in the nest alone or with the female.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,
