Misting and molting


I mist our Congo Grey every day and notice she molts quite often. Could this be a result of the misting?

Hi Keith,

African grey parrots have at least one heavy molt per year during which they lose and re-grow all of their main feathers over a period of four to six weeks. They also have smaller molts and shed feathers to some extent throughout the year. The powder-down feathers shed continuously.
