Hi Claudia,
You need to let the parents feed the chicks. Cockatiel chicks are very hard to hand feed from day 1 and there is a high mortality rate, even with the most experienced hand feeders. Hopefully you are feeding the parents a nutritionally balanced diet such as pellets and not a seed mix. If they are eating a seed mix, they will not be getting the nutrition they need and the chicks may not do well. You should also be offering the parents chopped veggies, dark leafy greens, multi grain bread and cooked eggs, with the shell washed, crushed and cooked with the eggs. The parents will need a lot of food when they are feeding chicks and you will need to check their food and water throughout the day and make sure they do not run out.
