My cockatiels

My cockatiels are 2 years old and they have been mating for a month now but the female won’t lay eggs but I did notice both of them sleeping in the nest these past few days

Just be patient with them. They are learning and will figure things out or not. There is a lot that can go wrong, which means most first clutches fail due to mistakes by the parents. Consider this a learning experience for them, and you never know, they might get things right the first time.
