My quaker is sitting at bottom of the cage

She’s not going too died is she or is she laying eggs or is she cold

Answer:

Hi Pamela,

If you think she isn’t well, please take her to an avian vet as soon as possible. If she is puffed up, breathing hard, straining, bobbing her tail up and down – these are all signs that something is wrong. It could be an egg but she could just be sick. She needs to be seen by a vet right away if she is sick or egg bound.

Take care,

Brenda
