No long wing feathers

Aviary bred siblings normal but no3 has no long tail feathers still being fed by other adult budgies. What to do .

Answer:

Hi,

You didn’t mention the age, but since they hatch in the order they were laid, the youngest can be a week or more behind the older birds. So this may be normal. If he doesn’t catch up, then he may have an illness. There are viruses that budgies can carry that can affect feathr growth and chick development.
