Nutriberries

The nutriberries harden after a week or so is there a way to store them so they stay softer?

Answer:

Hi Kathy,

Yes, this can happen even when stored in an airtight container. We recommend storing the food in the freezer – not the refrigerator – and only taking out abut a week’s supply at a time. Some birds prefer the berries when they are harder, but many prefer the softer berries. The Tropical Fruit and Sunny Orchard flavors will tend to be softer. Please also contact our customer service at [email protected] or 800-842-6445 and they can share some tips on softening the berries after they become too hard.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,

Brenda
