Nutriberries

I have recently bought the ‘Parrot’ nutriberries(El Paso, Garden veggie, sunny orchard and tropical fruit varieties) in error for my 3 year old cockatiel. Are these still suitable for him? Do I need to adjust the quantities?

Answer:

Hi Jane,

Yes, he can have the Parrot size. Some birds even prefer a size larger or smaller than the package says. And not all of our flavors come in all sizes. If he acts like they are too big, just break them a little. He may eat one or two less per day just because the berries are slightly larger. I had a cockatiel who lived into his 30’s and he always preferred the parrot size. His favorite was the Tropical Fruit! 🙂

Thank you for visiting Lafeber’s,
