Onions?

My 30 year old Amazon ate a very small amount of onion bread
What should I do

Hi Ron,

I don’t think you have anything to worry about. Raw onions are a concern. With a bread like that, they should be cooked or sometimes it has dehydrated onions. Since he only ate a small amount there shouldn’t be a problem. If he regurgitates or vomits, acts sick or depressed or gives you any reason for concern, contact your Avian Vet as soon as possible.
