Rainbow Lorikeets weaning

Hey if my 8 week old rainbow lorrikeets are starting to drink water and eat the dry adult mix should I stop feeding them the hand rearing mix every 6 hours they have been eating grapes and apples but do I feed them dry feed only and put them in a cage with water and the dry mix or keep feeding them the hand fairing mix and put some feed and water in there cage?

Weaning should be a gradual process by offering a variety of foods they can learn to eat, while still handfeeding them. As they eat more on their own, they will want less formula from you. Offer veggies & fruits, lory mix and some of their formula in a cup.
