Senegal diet

Hi, what food would you recommend for a 2 year old senegal parrot? thanks 🙂

As with any parrot, 80 percent of the diet should be a nutritionally balanced commercial diet like pellets. A loose seed mix does not provide the nutrition he needs, even if the mix has vitamins added. Parrots remove the hull from seeds and discard it, so any added vitamins are lost with the hull. You can also offer fresh greens, veggies, fruits, healthy treats and healthy table foods as up to 20% of the diet. Avoid feeding anything that is high in salt, sugar, oils and fat.
