Sleeping cage size

What’s the best size for a pionus sleeping cage?

Hi Jackie,

A sleeping cage really isn’t necessary unless there is some issue. If the bird is in the family room and everyone stays up too late, then a sleeping cage in another room can be good. Basically if the bird is sleeping well in his cage, then he doesn’t need a special cage for sleeping. If you feel like he does, usually you go with something he can comfortably stand in and turn around in. Something you may also use to take him to the Vet.
