I have a male and a female I woke up this morning and they were both dead in the nest with 3 eggs I don’t understand why they were fine yesterday morning when I clean their cage

I’m very sorry for your loss. It really sounds like it may have been a toxin. Did you use any cleaners or anything on the cage to clean it? Most cleaners are toxic to birds and have to be rinsed thoroughly. Any type of fume can be toxic to birds, even if it doesn’t bother humans. It’s hard to know for sure why they dies, but when 2 birds die suddenly, it is generally from an airborne toxin.
