Sunflower Seeds

Is it safe to give our cockatiels sunflower seeds? I’ve read yes in moderation and I’ve no not safe.

Hi Pam,

Unsalted sunflowers seeds are safe for your birds, but they offer very little nutrition. So one or two per day as a treat is about all you should offer.
