The lory does not enter the egg crate

What is the reason why a lory does not enter the egg box?

They are in a large cage and the egg crate is securely attached

Answer:

Hi,

It takes a lot of patience to breed birds. All you can do is make sure everything is set up correctly and hope they will breed. Some birds take longer than others to investigate their nest box. Just be patient and give them time. The pair needs to be bonded and showing signs of wanting to mate before you give them a nest box. They may simply not be bonded or aren’t ready to breed. The cage needs to be in a private location with very little human contact.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,
