Traumatised budgie

Micky has been ill ,so had to give him medication for 5 weeks.Having to get hold of him has left him so frightened.He is very quiet and not moving very much,but eating ok.He has never been a playfull budgie,so im thinking does he need a friend?

Micky needs time to return to full health. At that time, he will probably have forgiven you for the medications and will interact with you again. Getting a new bird would not be the best thing right now.
