Why do you add corn syrup to the pellets?
Please use a better alternative ingredient, this ingredient seems like it is not the best choice to feed my birds. Thank you!

Hi Stephy,
Our pellets do not contain any corn syrup. We do use a form of corn syrup in our Nutri-Berries as a natural, structural ingredient. All that is needed is a very small amount, and it is not a sweet corn syrup or a sugar corn syrup. It is a low dextrose corn syrup. In a webinar to launch our Tropical Fruit pellets, Dr. Lafeber addressed many of the food myths we are asked about. I’ll give you the link to the part where he explains the corn syrup. All of the ingredients we use are carefully selected and we do not use any fillers or unnecessary ingredients. Our ingredients are human grade, high quality, from the USA. All of our diets have been formulated by Nutritionists and Veterinarians, and when advances in nutrition are made, we update our formulas.
