why does he regurgitate me

Dear Sirs ,I am interested to know why my ara mexican/blue yellow 21 yrs regurgitates its food ? Thanks for any advice and sources.

He is treating you like his mate and trying to feed you. This is a common behavior with captive parrots. Distract him with a toy when you can see him getting ready to do this behavior. Also when you handle him, limit contact to head scratches and avoid petting him on his body, as this triggers his hormones.
