This is hormonal behavior and should serve as a warning that you will very likely be attacked if you don’t respect her space. Amazons start exhibiting hormonal behavior around 5-7 years old. Generally it lasts a few weeks, sometimes longer, and with some birds, they get hormonal off and on throughout the year.
