Rat Food

Although rats might eat just about any food you give them, a healthy diet that helps them thrive requires some pretty basic things: a food formulated for pet rats that doesn’t allow the rats to pick and choose so they eat only their favorite bits (Rascally Rat Nutri-Berries is a great option!), plenty of fresh water, and some healthy treats. Look for a rat food with the right ratio of protein and fat, and be on guard against obesity. Pet rats are prone to packing in the calories, and a fat rat is unhealthy. Also be alert to no-no foods that can hurt your precious pal.
