Breeding cockatiels, aggressive male

Male cockatiel is not allowing my female to enter the breeding box and when the female comes near the box it bites

This can happen – sometimes the males get confused and aggressive towards the female. If she has not laid eggs yet, you might try splitting them up for a while and then try caging them together again. In some cases the male has to be removed when the female sits on the eggs, and then you have to put him back in when she comes out and it is his turn. Some birds simply do not make good breeders and do not like other birds. If giving them a break from each other doesn’t help, you might need to split this pair up.
