Matting

Is there any chance of matting of two male cockatiels

Answer:

Hi Abhidev,

Two male cockatiels or two female cockatiels will sometimes form a mate bond in captivity and go into breeding mode. Of course even though they mate, the males can’t lay eggs, and two females might lay eggs but they would not be fertile and hatch.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,
