Budgie eggs

What is the maximum number of eggs that a budgie can lay at once??(Please suggest me the at most number)

Answer:

Hello,

Birds can only lay one egg per day, regardless of the species. A typical clutch size for a budgie is 4-6 eggs, which are laid every other day. If she lays more than that, then she is doing what is called double clutching, and this is not a healthy situation. If a new egg is showing up every day, then you have two females laying the eggs.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,
